October-1993 Approximately 15 young girls join the Andrew Jackson middle school wrestling team.
February-1994 Times-Picayune article on Andrew Jackson's Jessica Bayard winning her first match.
July-1997 Kellie Odinet (Andrew Jackson) becomes the first female to qualify for and compete in
the Junior Greco-Roman National Wrestling Championships in Fargo, N.D.
February-1998 Kellie Odinet becomes the first girl to win a match at the LHSAA Division I State Wrestling Championships
April-1998 Kellie Odinet earns the runner-up spot at the U.S. High School Girls Wrestling Championships in Ann Arbor, MI.
February-2004 Sharon McDonald (Benton High School) places fourth to earn a place on the podium at the LHSAA Division III State Wrestling Championships.
2004 and 2005 Hope Schenck (Andrew Jackson) places ninth at the USGWA National Championships.
2005-9 Hope Schenck becomes an All-American women's wrestler for Northern Michigan University.
2009 Abby Nette (Gator Wrestling Club) wins her first Louisiana USAW Kids Freetyle state championship.
October-2010 Doyline's Brittany Bates (Doyline High School) starts wrestling in her seventh-grade year.
November-2010 Cammi LaRosee (Hahnville High School) becomes the first girl to win a varsity wrestling tournament,
the John Ehret Invitational, going 3-0 against the boys and earning an Outstanding Wrestler award..
2010 Abby Nette (Gator Wrestling Club) wins the Louisiana USAW Kids Folkstyle state championship.
2011 Abby Nette (Gator Wrestling Club) wins her second Louisiana USAW Kids Freestyle state championship and the
USA Wrestling Schoolgirl Folkstyle National Championship
January-2012 Brittany Bates places second at the John Curtis Class AA, A, B & C Championships as a freshman.
December-2012 Brittany Bates win her first tournament, the Evangel Eagle Open.
2013 Brittany Bates earns her first USA/ASICS Wrestling All-American recognition.
Brittany Bates wins the USA Wrestling Louisiana Freestyle State Championship, the USA Texas Wrestling Folkstyle State Championship;
places second at the USAW Cadet Folkstyle National Championships, Evangel Eagle Open (OW) and Holiday Classic (OW).
January-2014 Brittany Bates wins the Lamar Invitational (Texas girls), the Brusly Invitational (OW),
the John Curtis AA, A, B & C Championships (OW) and the Jacob McMillan Memorial.
February-2014 Brittany Bates, Raven Guidry and Abby Nette all win matches at the LHSAA State Wrestling Championships.
March through July-2014 Brittany Bates wins the USA Texas Wrestling Folkstyle State Championship; Oklahoma Girls Folkstyle State Championship;
places 2nd at the Cadet Women's Freestyle Nationals and 5th at the USA Wrestling Junior Women's Freestyle Nationals in Fargo, ND.
Brittany Bates earns her 10th USA/ASICS Wrestling All-American recognition.
